The Wehrle Golf Dome in Clarence was upgraded last year with a new roof, a new driving range, new turf and a restaurant – Rule 26.
Now it could also be getting a patio.
Rule 26, both a restaurant and a bar, is a clever nod to the rules of golfing, which allows a player who hit a ball into a water hazard to take a penalty stroke and place a ball outside of the hazard.
Developer David Huck presented his plan to the Clarence Town Board on Wednesday. The patio would offer outdoor dining and music and would be open four or five months a year, he said.
A public hearing to consider a conditional permit for outside dining was set for 6:15 p.m. May 9.
