The Niagara County Industrial Development Agency board gave an $11,000 pay raise Wednesday to its interim executive director, Susan C. Langdon.
Langdon will now earn $90,000 a year, NCIDA Chairman Stephen F. Brady said. Last month, the board chose Langdon, who had been director of projects and finance, as the interim replacement for Samuel M. Ferraro, who died March 10.
Ferraro had been both NCIDA director and county economic development commissioner, with the county and the agency splitting his pay equally.
"That contract was unique to Sam," Brady said.
The NCIDA will pay Langdon's full salary.
Deputy Commissioner Michael A. Casale is the interim economic development chief on the county side. Legislature Chairman W. Keith McNall said Casale's $72,824 salary has not yet been adjusted.
