Make Earth Day a time for shredding

Don't toss those old bills and records.

Mark Earth Day the right way by shredding your paper records from 9 a.m. to noon on April 21 at Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve.

The Federal Trade Commission recommends shredding receipts, credit offers, insurance forms, physicians statements, checks and similar documents you no longer need.

There will be a limit of six copy-paper size boxes of paper. Residents will be responsible for the boxes and bags brought on to the site. Bound items may not be shredded, but bulldog, binder and paper clips are accepted. So are staples.

The preserve is at 93 Honorine Drive in Depew.
