Bethany A. Flach, of Wilson, who took part in a 2016 burglary that saddled the homeowner with $17,000 in losses and damage, was sent to state prison Monday.
Flach, 31, had been placed in a court-supervised drug treatment program after pleading guilty to third-degree burglary in Niagara County Court in May 2016.
However, she absconded from drug treatment, Assistant District Attorney Ryan K. Parisi said Monday. Judge Matthew J. Murphy III sentenced Flach to 16 months to four years behind bars.
In her 2016 court appearances, Flach said she started using cocaine at age 21 and started using heroin a few months before the Feb. 19, 2016, break-in on State Road in the City of Lockport.
Thomas J. Saraf, 33, of Lockport, also pleaded guilty in the case and was assigned to drug treatment.
