Buffalo woman, 19, charged in Fillmore Avenue stabbing

A 19-year-old Buffalo woman faces assault and weapons charges after a woman was stabbed Sunday night on Fillmore Avenue, Buffalo police said.

The victim, a 25-year-old Buffalo woman, was stabbed in the forehead and wrist at about 8:30 p.m. near East Ferry Street, according to a Buffalo police report.

Jadaijah Coleman was charged with second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon, police said. Officers recovered a knife they believe was used in the attack.

The victim was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment.
