UB men's basketball expected to travel to West Virginia, Marquette

With high expectations for the 2018-19 season, the University at Buffalo men's basketball team is putting together an aggressive non-conference schedule.

UB will travel to West Virginia and Marquette, a source confirmed after recent reports.

The game in Morgantown against the Mountaineers will be a rematch of the 2015 NCAA Tournament first-round game. UB rallied but lost 68-62.

UB will head to Milwaukee in late December to face the Golden Eagles, who lost in the quarterfinals of the NIT this year to Penn State.

UB also is expected to be in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off tournament, although that has not been finalized. A portion of the tournament is being held in Northern Ireland.
