After a rousing party on Elmwood Avenue to celebrate its first anniversary in 2017, Thin Man Brewery (492 Elmwood Ave.) plans to return the Summer Solstice Street Festival for another year.
From noon to 10 p.m. June 16, Thin Man will close off traffic on Elmwood between Hodge Avenue and Utica Street to showcase the following local bands: Radarada, The CPX, The Jumpers, Funktional Flow, Leroy Townes, Dreambeaches, The Soft Love, Humble Braggers, Bold Folly, PA Line, the Observers, Max Muscato and 12/8 Path Band.
General admission tickets are $15 in advance here, or $20 at the door, while two levels of VIP passes run for $25 and $100 in advance. Tickets go on sale at noon April 12, and general admission includes a commemorative Thin Man pint glass and the first fill of beer. The different levels of VIP admission touch on an open bar, access to the second floor and an event t-shirt.

In addition to the day of music, Thin Man Chef Nick Rada will grill Fireman's Chicken, while Allen Burger Venture representatives will also make burgers on site. Lloyd Taco Truck will have an outdoor presence at the festival, too. A beer truck will be parked outside the brewery, too, to ease the pressure on the downstairs bar.
The event will conclude with a house music-driven dance party on the second floor, featuring DJ Chad Lock.
