SNACK TIME – The Kenmore Mercy Hospital Auxiliary hosts the Popcorn Shack, a specialty popcorn maker, in the hospital atrium from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday. Proceeds benefit the hospital.

BUILDING BLOCKS – The president of the board of the Lipsey Buffalo Architecture Center, Kelly Hayes McAlonie, is the speaker in the Imagine Lecture Series at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Central Library in Lafayette Square in downtown Buffalo.
The program in the Ring of Knowledge on the main floor of the Central Library on Lafayette Square in downtown Buffalo opens at noon with a Great Courses video on great cantilever bridges.
Admission is free. You can purchase lunch at the library’s Fables Cafe or bring your own. The series is sponsored by the Center for the Study of Art, Architecture, History & Nature.
