Carl Street shooting victim in fair condition

A 35-year-old Buffalo man was in fair condition after was shot in the leg Saturday night on the city's East Side, police said.

The shooting happened at about 10:15 p.m. on Carl Street, near Northland Avenue, according to Buffalo police.

The victim was taken by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center. Police did not release any further information about the shooting.
