A Jamestown man attracted the attention of Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies on Saturday morning when he was driving on Route 60 through Cassadaga.
Deputies stopped the vehicle at 4:28 a.m. because of a loud exhaust and what turned out to be an allegedly forged inspection.
They reported that, after talking to the driver, Gregory R. Rosier, 52, of Jamestown, it was discovered Rosier had 15 suspensions or revocations on his New York State driver’s license.
Rosier was charged with misdemeanor aggravated unlicensed operation second, misdemeanor displaying a forged inspection, uninspected motor vehicle and loud exhaust. He was arraigned in the Town of Charlotte for the Town of Stockton and held on bail of $2,000 cash or $4,000 bond.
