University at Buffalo defensive end Demone Harris worked out for the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday, according to reports.
Harris, a graduate of Bishop Timon-St. Jude, went to UB as a walk-on after not having playing organized football before his junior year of high school. He worked his way into becoming a starter for most of his final three seasons for the Bulls. He had a career-high five sacks as a senior and finished his college career with 9.5 sacks, 59 tackles and five forced fumbles.
Harris, who is 6-4 and 264 pounds, was timed at 4.77 in the 40-yard dash at UB's Pro Day. He ran a 4.4 in the 20-yard shuttle with a vertical jump of 32.5 inches and broad jump of 10 feet, 1 inch.
