HAMILTON, Robert Arthur

HAMILTON, Robert Arthur

HAMILTON - Robert Arthur A true prankster and intrepid traveler, left this brokedown palace onto his next adventure. "He was a picker, a grinner, a lover and a sinner, he played his music in the sun. He was a joker, a smoker, a midnight toker, and got his lovin on the run" (Steve Miller Band). He is survived by his grateful friend and one-time wife Paula; his daughters Hannah, Lydia and Nika and her three children, Brayden, Ryan and Addison. His brothers Tim, Mike, Phil, Tom and Geoff and many other family and friends, especially his best friend John. Many people over the years knew and loved him for his charm, his wit and his sense of humor. As one person put it, "He grows on you." "Promontory Rider. What makes you ride so high? To pluck a loving star, from out an empty sky. But Promontory Rider, that was many years ago. Moving on the high ground, moving on the low. Promontory Rider, ride on, ride on. Territory Ranger, ride on, ride. Step right up and put that loving star, right back inside that empty sky. Promontory Rider, ride on, ride on, ride" (Robert Hunter) No prior visitation. Robert served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Online condolences may be made at
