Victims of shooting near Schiller Park released from hospital

Two men shot Thursday afternoon near Buffalo's Schiller Park have been treated and released from Erie County Medical Center, police said Friday.

A 19-year-old and a 20-year-old were shot while inside a vehicle around 1:30 p.m. near Genesee Street and Floss Avenue, police said. A car with at least 14 apparent bullet holes sat near the scene, as reported by WKBW-TV.

Police have not released any other information about the shooting.

Police ask anyone who may have information about the shooting to call or text the department's confidential tip line at 716-847-2255.
