The best known bounty hunter in the galaxy is coming to Buffalo.
Actor Jeremy Bulloch, who plays the popular bad guy Boba Fett in multiple "Star Wars" movies, is the newest addition to Nickel City Con, being held May 18 to 20 in the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center.
Bulloch will be on hand all three days to meet fans, sign autographs and have photos taken. He is joining an already full and diverse lineup including actress Barbara Eden ("I Dream of Jeannie"), baseball great Reggie Jackson and voice actor Steve Blum ("Star Wars Rebels" and "Cowboy Bebop").
Also announced so far: Lou Ferrigno (“The Incredible Hulk”), Shannon Purser (“Stranger Things”), Corbin Bernsen ("Psych," "Major League"), Jon Heder (“Napoleon Dynamite”), Jason Mewes, Jason David Frank ("Power Rangers"), Lori Petty (“Tank Girl,” “Point Break”) and the Young Bucks (professional tag team wrestlers). The con will again include guest panels, workshops and a kids activity room. New this year is a horror fest which will be held on the first floor of the convention center and feature visits from John Kassir (the Crypt Keeper in "Tales from the Crypt) and artist James O'Barr ("The Crow").
Convention hours are 3:30 to 8 p.m. May 18, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 19 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 20.
Early-bird tickets are on sale for $15 to $20, or $40 for all three days. Kids 10 and younger are admitted free. Admission will be higher at the door. Get tickets via nickelcitycon.com and at Dave & Adam's retail store at 8075 Sheridan Drive.
