A Buffalo woman was stabbed in the arm early Thursday morning while she was sleeping in her East Side apartment, she told police.
The victim, a 40-year-old Moselle Street woman, told police that she got into an argument prior to the attack with a man she was living with, and she believed he stabbed her, according to a Buffalo police report.
She reported to police at about 1:15 a.m. that she had been stabbed in the right arm. The report did not indicate what type of weapon may have been used.
The victim was transported by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center. The suspect had fled the scene before police arrived, according to the report.
