Dan Orlovsky retied last fall after a 12-year career in the NFL. He has quickly transitioned into an analyst role, spending significant time looking at the quarterbacks available in this year's draft.
Orlovsky took to social meeting Thursday to say that he feels like Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield is the "absolute perfect fit" for the Bills. Whether Mayfield is available should the Bills remain at No. 12 is another question.
"After watching all Baker Mayfield tape, I actually think he’s the absolute perfect fit for the Bills," Orlovsky wrote. "Dunno if he will be there, but he NEEDS to be in a very specific scheme, and Daboll coming from spread/Bama is that scheme. Kids got some special accuracy. ... He’s unconventional and needs space to operate/create ... He needs that kind of offense and space for his strength to be his strength."
