Two people showed up at Erie County Medical Center on Thursday afternoon with gunshot wounds, according to Buffalo police.
Police were called to the intersection of Genesee Street and Floss Avenue at about 1:40 p.m. for the report of a shooting.
The two victims, identified only as male, were being treated at the hospital, a police spokesman said.
A car with at least 14 apparent bullet holes sat near the scene. A photojournalist from WKBW-TV posted an image on Twitter of the bullet-riddled car.
"Detectives are investigating where the shooting incident occurred," Buffalo police spokesman Michael J. DeGeorge said in an email.
