It's the time of year when buzz about which prospects NFL teams most covet really begins to pick up steam.

When it comes to the Buffalo Bills and their pursuit of a franchise quarterback, one of their former wide receivers had some intriguing things to say Wednesday about the team's search.

"The team that wants him the most, I would think, would be the Buffalo Bills," said NFL Network analyst Bucky Brooks during his 360 podcast with Daniel Jeremiah. "And the reason why it would be a good fit up there is because I'm talking about him being wired the right way."

Brooks was drafted by the Bills in the second round in 1994. He played for five NFL teams in his five seasons before becoming an analyst.

"This is an A-plus talent," Brooks said of Allen. "This is a guy that we talk about, we dream about as a scout in terms of seeing what someone can bring to the table from a physical standpoint. And he is everything that you want to work with as a quarterback coach, meaning he's undeveloped, he's raw, he's unrefined."
