Barker woman killed in Hartland collision

A 77-year-old Barker woman was killed Wednesday in a collision in Hartland after the vehicle she was riding in was hit by a vehicle that ran a stop sign, according to the State Police.

The collision happened at 12:45 p.m. near the intersection of Route 104 and Carmen Road, police said.

Barbara A. Linker, who suffered multiple fractures, died at Medina Memorial Hospital, police said.

Thomas M. Busch, 40, of Lockport, was driving north on Carmen when he failed to stop at the stop sign and entered the path of the vehicle heading west on Route 104. Busch was ticketed for failure to stop at a stop sign and unreasonable speed, troopers said.

The driver of the other vehicle, whose name was not released, also suffered multiple fractures and was also taken to Medina Memorial Hospital.
