A 17-year-old was charged with robbing an East Side corner store on Wednesday night, according to a Buffalo police report.
The teen was accused of walking into the store on East Delavan Avenue and Chelsea Place carrying a knife, walking behind the register and demanding cash, according to the report. The Buffalo News is not publishing the teen's name because of his age.
The time the robbery occurred was not included in a summary of the report reviewed by The News.
The teen was arrested at 11:08 p.m. on Longview Avenue, two blocks west of the store, according to the report. He was charged with first-degree robbery, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and petit larceny.
