'Cold Case' author to speak at Brighton Place Library on Tuesday

Lissa Marie Redmond, a retired Buffalo Police detective who now writes mystery novels, will speak and sign copies of her new book at 7 p.m. March 6, at Brighton Place Library, 999 Brighton Road, Town of Tonawanda.

Redmond will discuss the years she spent investigating "cold case" murders, including the "Bikepath Killer" case,  and how her police experiences influenced her first novel, "Cold Day In Hell," which was published last month.

The event is free, but those planning to attend should contact the library at 332-4375 to reserve a seat.
