State Comptroller DiNapoli to attend Gen. Pulaski wreath-laying ceremony Friday

State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli will be among the dignitaries at the annual wreath laying at the Gen. Pulaski statue in downtown Buffalo at 5 p.m. Friday, March 2.

Also scheduled to appear are Erie County Legislator Barbara Miller-Williams, County Clerk Michael Kearns, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Carl Bucki and the Erie County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Division under Capt. Wayne Wolf.

Following the ceremony at the statue just north of the Ellicott Square, the annual General Pulaski Association installation dinner will be held at 7 p.m. at Protocol Restaurant, 6766 Transit Road, Amherst. Installing officer will be Cheektowaga Town Justice Paul S. Piotrowski. Emcee will be WGRZ-TV meteorologist Kevin O’Connell.

The annual Dr. Hratch L. Karamanoukian Vein Treatment Centers scholarship will be awarded. Tickets are $40. For reservations, call Marian Kreutzer at 681-4981 or Chris Witkowski at 684-0512.
