Buffalo-based Hamister Group sells Tennessee hotel

Hamister Group has sold one of its earliest investments as it readjusts its real estate portfolio and generates some returns for its owners.

The Buffalo-based hospitality management company said it sold its 81-suite Mainstay Suites Hotel in Alcoa, Tenn., near the Knoxville Airport.

The hotel includes in-room kitchens, on-site parking and an outdoor seasonal swimming pool and is located within five miles of the Knoxville Convention Center.

The sale to a local owner and operator closed on Feb. 22. Hamister did not reveal the price.
