UB to offer graduate certificate in public health

An advanced graduate certificate in public health will be offered at the University at Buffalo School of Public Health and Health Professions beginning in the fall, the school announced.

The certificate program can be completed in as little as one year online or on campus through seated courses on a full- or part-time basis.

It’s designed for working professionals who want to gain practical public health skills; students who wish to take a few courses before enrolling in a master's of public health program; current UB students interested in the bigger picture of health care in the U.S.; individuals who want to transition into or advance in the field of public health; and students who need the flexibility of online courses or in-person options.

Students interested in the advanced certificate program are encouraged to contact the School of Public Health and Health Professions Office for Academic and Student Affairs.
