The Tuscarora Historical Society will welcome visitors to its second annual "Skaru:re Rez Life" day of workshops and displays March 17 in the Tuscarora Nation House, 5226 Walmore Road, on the Tuscarora Nation.
Admission and parking in the Nation House's lot are free. The event will have a morning session and an afternoon session; exact times will be announced.
Last year's event drew some 300 people from the region who browsed the displays on sports, history, culture, beadwork and other subjects, or attended workshops on such topics as returning to a natural diet and historical events.
This year, the Rickard family will sell lunches. Four traditional beaded strawberries will be hidden around the display tables, and those who find them may keep them.
