Another day drenched with sunshine is forecast in Buffalo on Tuesday.
And it will be about 10 degrees warmer than Monday, too.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service project temperatures will reach into the low 50s.
A gusty southwest wind could keep things feeling a little bit cooler, especially in downtown Buffalo and closer to Lake Erie.
Buffalo's average high temperature for today's date is 36 degrees.
A ridge of high pressure will continue into Wednesday as well, helping to keep temperatures above 50 degrees again, but chances for showers increase in the late afternoon hours into the evening to round out the month of February, the weather service said.
March will come in like a bit of wet lion on Thursday thanks to an area of low pressure tracking from the Ohio Valley into the middle-Atlantic states.
Rain is forecast Thursday afternoon into the evening and overnight. Daytime highs will be in the mid 40s on Thursday.
By Friday, the liquid precipitation could change over to snowflakes, the weather service said.
