The Healthy 10: Skating, gardenside yoga and the Shamrock Run on tap this week

Ice skating continues on two cooled outdoor rinks, a new yoga series starts at the Erie County Botanical Gardens and the 40th annual Shamrock Run rounds out the WNY Refresh Top 10 Picks of the Week when it comes to health, fitness, nutrition and family events in the region.

TUESDAY

WEDNESDAY

Ice skating: 3 to 7 p.m. today and Thursday; 1 to 10 p.m. today, 10 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Ice at Canalside, Main at Scott streets. $6 for ages 13 and over, $4 for those 6 to 12, free for children 5 and under. One Heart, One Mile Winter Walk and Health Fair: Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. next Saturday, walk starts at 10 a.m., Macerich’s Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls USA, 1900 Miltary Road, Niagara Falls. Free. Hosted by the Buffalo Niagara American Heart Association. Immediately following the walk, a variety of health-related vendors will be on hand.
