A suspected electrical fire caused an estimated $20,000 in damage to a law office in downtown Niagara Falls on Monday morning.
City firefighters were called to the offices of Falk & Falk, 445 Third St., at about 7:25 a.m. The fire started on the exterior of the building and spread to the roof, said Niagara Falls Chief of Fire Prevention Michael Winker.
No one was inside the building when the fire began. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but appeared to involve the electrical service to the building, Winker said.
