Visitor accused of shattering man's jaw with punch

A 31-year-old West Seneca man is facing assault charges for allegedly shattering another man's jaw while in the victim's South Buffalo home, Buffalo police said.

Joseph Stupak, of Elmsford Drive, was charged with misdemeanor assault when arrested while in Buffalo Sunday morning, according to police.

The incident occurred Feb. 19 on Good Avenue, according to police, who said Stupak punched the 27-year-old, shattering his left jaw. The victim was treated at Erie County Medical Center.
