Letter: Founders never envisioned our modern-day weaponry

Founders never envisioned our modern-day weaponry

They didn’t have assault rifles when they wrote the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, but they certainly had field cannons.

Does anyone actually believe that the Founding Fathers intended to allow a cannon in anyone’s private home?

The courts need to revisit their interpretation of the Second Amendment, and with our children’s crusade, it will happen now or never.
