Police investigating reports of gunshots being fired on Woodlawn Avenue in Buffalo discovered bullets had struck two parked cars and a home gas meter, police said Sunday.
Residents on the 500 block of Woodlawn, which runs parallel to and south of East Ferry Street, told police they heard multiple shots fired about 1:30 a.m. Saturday. The cars that were hit were parked on the street. Bullets hit the rear windshield and the left bumper of one of the cars, residents told police. The second car was struck in the windshield.
A gas meter on one of the homes on Woodlawn was also struck, police were told.
No injuries were reported.
