UB will play a Mid-American Conference game in the middle of its non-conference slate and finish the season with four straight weekday games, the university announced today in unveiling its 2018 schedule.
UB plays non-conference home games against Delaware State and Army and steps up in class for non-conference road games at Temple of the American Athletic Conference and Rutgers of the Big 10.
In between those four, UB will play its conference opener against visiting Eastern Michigan on Sept. 15.
The MAC makes its customary switch to weekday games late in the season and UB will play games televised by ESPN channels on Oct. 30 against Miami, on Nov. 6 against Kent State and Nov. 14 at Ohio.
The season concludes with a Nov. 23 Black Friday game at Bowling Green.
The Bulls, 6-6 last season, return 14 starters, including all-conference selections Anthony Johnson at wideout and Khalil Hodge at linebacker. UB was bowl-eligible for just the third time in program history but was not selected to participate.
