The state’s Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has announced that it will be holding a public information session on Feb. 28 regarding the recently completed habitat management plan for the Harwood Lake Multiple Use Area (MUA) in Cattaraugus County. The meeting will be held at Franklinville High School, 31 North Main St., Franklinville. There will be an open house starting at 6 p.m. followed by a formal presentation at 6:30 p.m.
The plans call for the Harwood Lake MUA, located in the Town of Farmersville, to have guided land use for the next 10 years. This will be a great opportunity to ask questions about the area and what the plan hopes to accomplish.
