Cheektowaga lifts overnight parking ban until March 1

Overnight winter parking restrictions in Cheektowaga have been suspended until March 1, officials announced Tuesday.

The ban was lifted due to unseasonably warm weather, Supervisor Diane Benczkowski said in a news release. The area's forecast calls for no snow and a drastic warmup, including a high of 66 degrees Tuesday at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport in Cheektowaga.

The town's suspension of its overnight parking ban will be re-evaluated March 1 based on weather forecasts, Benczkowski added.

Who's got the best shot at 70 degrees today?
