A City of Tonawanda man charged with driving while intoxicated last month faces a new DWI charge after he was arrested over the weekend, according to police.
King G. Bonner II, 29, of Young Street, was pulled over on State Street shortly before 12:30 a.m. Sunday. Officers found an open bottle of vodka in his vehicle's center console, City of Tonawanda police said.
Bonner, who refused breath tests, was charged with first- and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, DWI, drinking alcohol in a vehicle, along with three vehicle and traffic violations.
Bonner's driver's license was suspended following his arrest Jan. 8 on a DWI charge in the City of Tonawanda, police said.
