Letter: Let’s stop saying ‘no problem’ and go back to ‘you’re welcome’

Let’s stop saying ‘no problem’ and go back to ‘you’re welcome’

I was very glad to read the letter in Everybody’s Column by a reader who felt the same way I do in reference to the response, “no problem.” It always baffled me as to how this came to replace the response of “you’re welcome.” I, too, wonder if it seemed I was implying that there was an actual problem, when I acknowledged service given to me with a “thank you.” I’m glad I am not alone on this. Funny, I can almost hear a “whatever” by some right now.
