Burglary of Buffalo's Best solved with an arrest, Orchard Park Police say

The Orchard Park Police Department capped a five-week investigation into burglaries at a Southwestern Boulevard restaurant with the arrest of a Buffalo man, authorities said.

Andrew B. Dumas Jr., 37, of Bogardus Street, was charged with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny and fifth-degree conspiracy following burglaries on Jan. 4 and Wednesday at Buffalo's Best restaurant, according to police.

Dumas was held for arraignment and transported to the Erie County Holding Center, authorities said. He was unable to post bail, which was set at $10,000, authorities said.

Police did not release additional information surrounding the circumstances of the burglary.

The Orchard Park Police Department is investigating the burglaries and asks anyone with information to contact the Detective Bureau at 662-6475, Ext. 3.
