Woman accused of forging mother's name to purchase vehicle

An Orleans County woman was arraigned Tuesday on multiple felony charges, including forgery, identity theft and grand larceny, in an alleged scheme to forge her mother's signature on documents used to purchase a vehicle.

Linda C. Feeley, 59, of Holley, was charged with six counts of forgery, along with grand larceny, identity theft and six counts of conspiracy, four counts of which are misdemeanors, according to the Genesee County Sheriff's Office.

Feeley's boyfriend and the car salesman who facilitated the transaction also have been charged, the Sheriff's Office said.

Feeley was issued an order of protection by the court, released and scheduled to reappear on March 13.
