Denzel K. Lewis, charged with a murder in Niagara Falls, will not be offered any breaks.

"We are not offering a plea in this case," Niagara County District Attorney Caroline A. Wojtaszek said Wednesday in state Supreme Court. "His only option is to plead to the indictment."

Lewis, 22, of Cleveland Avenue, has pleaded not guilty in the death of Lerowne Harris, 35, who was gunned down Oct. 14 at 19th Street and Walnut Avenue.

Assistant DA Doreen M. Hoffmann said Charles L. Walker Jr., 24, of Willow Avenue, has been indicted on a charge of hindering prosecution for allegedly driving Lewis to and from the scene.

Walker has pleaded not guilty to a separate murder charge in the Dec. 5 shooting death of Ladrae Walker, 26, no relation, on Highland Avenue in the Falls.
