The sweeping changes at One Bills Drive continue.
The team announced the addition of three new staff members Wednesday, including a new head athletic trainer and director of analytics. Joining the organization are:
• Nate Breske, head athletic trainer – A 10-year NFL veteran, Breske spent the past three seasons as the Bears' head athletic trainer after seven seasons with San Francisco. Breske takes over for Shone Gipson, who was not brought back following the 2017 season. Bud Carpenter, the team's director of athletic training operations, also retired.
• Luis Guilamo, director of analytics and application development – Guilamo most recently worked for the IT consulting firm TekPartners. He consulted for the Bills in 2017, as well as for the Miami Marlins, Office Depot and Citrix. The University of Illinois graduate was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Chicago. Guilamo replaces Michael Lyons, who worked last season as the director of analytics.
• Jeff Mueller, video director: Mueller comes to the Bills after spending 20 seasons in the Carolina Panthers' video department. The Albany native attended UMass and replaces former video director Greg Estes, who had been with the team since 2011.
