The resident of an Orchard Park apartment was able to evacuate her home safely after it caught fire Saturday morning, but her dog did not make it out alive.
At around 11:21 a.m., Orchard Park Police responded to reports of the small of smoke inside a Carriage Drive apartment building and found a rear unit on the second floor on fire. They safely evacuated all six units of the building.
