Drug dealer pleads guilty to fentanyl distribution

A Buffalo drug dealer faces a maximum 20 years in prison after pleading guilty Thursday to distribution of more than 24 grams of fentanyl before U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo.

Jeremy Jorge, 21, admitted that on at least seven occasions between December 2016 and September 2017, he sold what he marketed as heroin in exchange for $300 to $1,300, according to the U.S. Attorney's office. A forensic analysis later determined the drugs contained a mixture of various controlled substances including heroin, fentanyl, butyryl fentanyl, furanyl fentanyl, and U-47700.

Jorge is scheduled to be sentenced on May 15.
