The Niagara Arts and Cultural Center, 1201 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls, presents Second Monday Mixers from 6 to 8 p.m. each month in its gallery, which are free and open to the public.
The next mixer features Ally Sponger and Chris Bacon discussing the Underground Railroad in Western New York on Feb. 12.
The lineup also includes: Lee Simonson on “Eight Miracles that Saved America,” March 12; a theater mixer, April 9; Marge Gillies of Niagara Falls Historic Preservation Society on historic Buffalo Avenue homes, May 14; and Christine Wittmann, “The Business of Making Jewelry,” June 11.
Shelly Glica of the NFHPS will discuss the history of porches, July 9; Bill Bradberry will talk about the dig at the Cataract Hotel site, Aug. 13; an introduction to the NACC’s artist tenants’ classes is Sept. 10; Michelle Kratts discusses genealogy Oct. 8; and Native American history and language are the topics on Nov. 12.
