Hollie Kane of Lockport, who blamed her ex-husband and her drug use for her involvement in crime, was sentenced Tuesday to one to three years in state prison for two felonies.
Kane, 30, had pleaded guilty to third-degree burglary for her role in a Dec. 3, 2016, theft at an apartment on Gooding Street in Lockport, in which $8,400 of property was stolen. Her ex-husband, Justin M. Kane, 28, who also entered a guilty plea, will be sentenced Feb. 13.
Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III promised Justin Kane a prison term of no more than four years.
Hollie Kane also pleaded guilty to fourth-degree grand larceny for acting as a lookout while a purse was stolen from a vehicle on Washburn Street in Lockport on Dec. 11, 2016.
