A North Tonawanda man has been accused of stealing more than $4,000 from a developmentally disabled person, the State Police said.
Anthony J. Crowley, 33, allegedly opened a checking account in the name of the victim, who had been living with him for an extended period, police said. State Police said they received a complaint about Crowley's treatment of the victim on June 19, 2017.
Crowley allegedly took more than $4,000 from the checking account for personal use. He was arrested Jan. 14 and charged with first-degree identity theft and third-degree grand larceny, police said Monday.
