An opening reception for an “Artists of Color” exhibit is planned for 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10 in the Townsend Gallery at the Niagara Arts and Cultural Center, 1201 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls. The exhibit continues through March 18.
The NACC is also celebrating African American History Month with an Underground Railroad exhibit, “Freedom Crossing,” in the Heritage Gallery. The gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a permanent exhibit.
And Ally Sponger and Chris Bacon will discuss the “Underground Railroad in Western New York,” a presentation by the Niagara Falls National Heritage Area, from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 12.
