A Niagara Falls man told police he was robbed at gunpoint Friday afternoon by a man with whom he had been riding around the city.
The victim, a 28-year-old 21st Street man, told police that he was driving around with the suspect around 2 p.m. when the men turned into an alley off B Street and stopped. The driver exited the vehicle, leaving the victim inside. The victim said that as he checked out a car being offered for sale in the area, the man returned, stuck a handgun in his face and robbed him of his cellular telephone and $100 in cash.
The victim fled the vehicle at that point and called police.
