Lockport woman gets 2 years supervised release for drug dealing

A Lockport drug dealer has been sentenced to two years supervised release following her conviction on drug possession and distribution charges.

Colette Arne, 67, was convicted in U.S. District Court of possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of oxymorphone, a Schedule II controlled substance, and sentenced by Senior U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny.

Arne sold oxymorphone to a confidential source working with law enforcement officers on two separate occasions at her Applewood Drive residence, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Laura A. Higgins. After the second sale, Arne’s residence was searched with her consent, Higgins said.  Officers recovered $20,200 in cash and empty prescription pill bottles. The prescriptions were issued in her name and the name of her now-deceased husband.
