Letters: Say ‘you’re welcome,’ instead of ‘no problem’

Say ‘you’re welcome,’ instead of ‘no problem’

I know there are more important things to think about, but this has been bothering me for a while.

When I went to the doctor’s office, the receptionist said, “The doctor will be with you soon.” I said, “Thank you.” She said, “No problem.”

At the grocery store, the clerk handed back my change. Again I said, “Thank you.” He said, “No problem.”

I didn’t think it was a problem.

The problem is, what happened to “you’re welcome”?
