A Buffalo man was arrested Sunday and charged with robbing a Dollar General in the city's Riverside neighborhood on Jan. 8, according to Buffalo police.
Lamar L. Keys, 21, faces one count of first-degree robbery, two counts of second-degree robbery and petit larceny charges, police said.
The same Dollar General at 827 Tonawanda St. was robbed two more times – Jan. 14 and on Thursday – but police have not said whether Keys is a suspect in those robberies or two others in the area, at a Rite Aid Jan. 16 and a cellphone store Friday night.
Keys, who lives on Crowley Avenue a few blocks from the store, is accused of being one of two masked men who robbed the discount store two weeks ago. He was taken into custody Sunday afternoon near the intersection of Hertel Avenue and Military Road.
